Hey, this is Nick Klopper, and I want to thank you for stopping by.
Let’s first start with a little bit about me, then we’ll get to my journey to this industry.
As you can see I’m a young guy, all of 23 years of age, but I’ve been told that I’m wiser than my years, and that “I wish I would have figured this stuff out at your age”. The way I think about it, it’s just an extension of living life to its fullest and not settling for mediocrity.
I’ve been fortunate enough to experience many things at a young age, amongst those experiences is traveling. I absolutely love traveling... I can't get enough of it. The experiences you get from traveling are priceless. I see each new trip as a challenge and a chance to develop and grow as a person, which is right in line with my love for personal development. You discover so much about yourself, other people, the world, different cultures, art, architecture, history, music, and the list goes on and on.
So, back to my jouney to network marketing. It’s been an interesting one.
I was first introduced to the concept at the age of 8, although I didn’t really know it at the time, when my mom got a corporate job at one of the largest network marketing companies. Even at that young age I saw the opportunities that such a business could bring if you are willing to put in the effort it takes to succeed. As it turns out this is where the seed was planted.
Fast-forward 12 years to age 20. While I was working at a random sales job I found online I visited a prospect’s house and my eyes were re-opened to an amazing opportunity… That opportunity was, again, network marketing. I saw this industry as a vehicle to achieve my dreams – financially, personally, and professionally – and decided to pursue it full force.
But, that’s not where the journey ends; not by any means.
At that time I was pursuing my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and really couldn’t see myself not continuing down the path towards being a Physio, but things change for me in a big way.
To that point I was doing everything in my network marketing business the ‘old-school’ way. I chasing my friends and family, going to hotel meetings, buying piece of @*&! leads, cold calling prospects, handing out business cards, and putting up fliers. Basically, everything my upline told me to do.
When I asked one of the top leaders how he was getting leads he told me I could either buy them or generate my own. Hmm, ‘generate my own’ that sounded intriguing. But that’s as far as that went. When I asked how he was generating his own leads I just got some nebulous answer that wasn’t even remotely enlightening or helpful.
So I went back to what I was doing, and got the same results as before… None! I got a few customers here and there but that was it.
Then in February 2010 I stumbled across a system that taught me how to market my business online. This was a major turning point for me.
I began pouring through all the training material on that site, bought this training product and that training product and began learning the skills I needed to successfully use the internet to build my business online.
Things were looking up, I started generating my own leads online, building a my presence online, and building my downline… Albeit, at a slow rate. But it was something.
During these first few months some major things happened with regards to my mindset. I had always been entrepreneurial – I wanted to own a snowboard shop, then a bike shop, and finally I wanted to own my own Physical Therapy clinic – but what I realized is that none of these provided any leverage and that I would always be trading my time for money.
The more I thought about what I wanted out of life the clearer it became that the path I was traveling down would not lead me to the place I wanted to go. I want to be a dad that can go to all of his kids events (with the wife I have yet to meet and kids I have yet to have), go on nice family vacations and not have to worry about my boss letting me have time off work, spend quality time with my family, go play a round of golf in the middle of the day, relax at the beach during the summer (or whenever), and have the freedom to make my own schedule.
Still I kept on the path towards being a Phyiso.
I’ve always done well in school. I got a free ride to school, and got into an extremely competitive Master’s program. Now I’m not saying this to show how smart I am or anything like that. My point here is that I thought that if I didn’t see Physical Therapy all the way through I would have wasted my time and effort. But what I realized is that continuing down a path that wasn’t going to take me where I wanted to go was downright ludicrous.
So I decided to buck the system and get on the path I wanted to be on. Now I have the pleasure of working with people who are headed in the same direction I'm going. I only work with people who show the same drive to become a highly successful entrepreneur and add value to the world.
I came to the realization that working for myself and creating my own destiny was the only way to live.
It hasn’t been the smoothest of rides, but I am thankful that I have the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I know that I am not the only person who has had struggles in this industry.
I have had the privilege, and pleasure, of working with some of the best marketers in our industry and have been personally mentored by 7-figure earners. I know without their help I would not be where I am today in my business. Because of the personal attention I’ve received from mentors I know that the more value and help we bring to others and the network marketing industry the more everyone will succeed in achieving their dreams.
That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to helping others achieve success. I know that sounds cliché and passé, but well it’s the truth and there’s really know other way to say it.
So, feel free to contact me and we can get to know each other a little better.
